Meridian Selected to Construct Bluff Point III

Meridian Design Build has been selected by Land and Lakes Development Co. to serve as design-build general contractor for the Bluff Point III Distribution Facility to be constructed in Romeoville, IL. Construction is slated to begin this spring with a fourth quarter 2008 project completion.

The 506,800 square foot speculative industrial facility will be the third building developed by Land and Lakes within their Bluff Point Business Park development located at the Southeast corner of Joliet Road and Bluff Road. The cross-docked facility will be designed to accommodate multi-tenant occupancy with 4 drive-in-doors, a 30’ clear height, an ESFR Sprinkler System and future trailer parking stalls…

Meridian Completes AMB Remington Lakes

Meridian Design Build recently announced the completion of a new 228,494 square foot speculative industrial facility for AMB Property Corporation at 750 Veterans Parkway in Bolingbrook, IL.

Located right off of I-55 and South Frontage Road, the building features 42 trailer parking stalls, 36 dock positions (expandable to 61) and 2 grade-level doors. The 30’ clear facility is equipped with an ESFR sprinkler system and is divisible down to 75,000 square feet.

Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Held at New Industrial Park

Ribbon cutting ceremonies were held last month for two new industrial facilities, Buildings D-1 and G-1, located at Paragon Business Center, a new 48-acre business park being developed by First American Properties at Taylor Road and Belmont Drive in Romeoville, IL. Meridian Design Build was retained last year to coordinate the design and construction of infrastructure improvements for the new 48-acre business park. Building D-1, located on Taylor Road just east of the park entrance, is a 45,000 square foot multitenant speculative office/warehouse facility, which will feature a 24’ clear height, 4 exterior loading docks and 2 on grade drive-in-doors. The building will be divisible to accommodate tenant spaces as small as 15,000 square feet and is available for lease or sale. Meridian Design Build Completes Tile Showroom Facility

Meridian Design Build has announced the completion of a new stone tile showroom for Levantina USA in Bensenville, IL. Dallas-based Levantina USA, a stone slab and tile producer, is owned by Spain-based Levantina, a natural stone supplier.

Levantina USA leased 44,915 square foot of space at the O’Hare Logistics Center, Building I, developed and owned by Atlanta-based Seefried Properties. The project was completed on a fast-track basis with Meridian Design Build.
