Meridian Design Build recently began construction on a new 185,840 SF speculative flex building for developer Scannell Properties on a 21.83 acre site at 14700 Foltz Parkway in Strongsville, OH.
The multi-tenant building will feature 28 loading docks, 2 drive in doors and 164 auto parking stalls. The design of the building incorporates a Thermoplastic Polyolefin (TPO) roof and LED lighting. Meridian Completes Food Mfg Facility Renovation

Meridian Design Build recently completed the design-build renovation of a 115,000 SF building in Wheeling, IL for Richelieu Foods, a private label and contract package food company. The new plant includes nine refrigerated loading docks, a 20,500 SF refrigerated warehouse, 33,500 SF of production space constructed to meet stringent USDA standards, and a 3,250 SF freezer.

Meridian Breaks Ground on Bartlett Build to Suit

Meridian Design Build recently broke ground on a 67,080 SF build to suit for Traffic Control & Protection on a 9.5 acre site within Abbott Land & Investment’s Blue Heron Business Park in Bartlett, IL. The location for the new building was selected in part, due to its ability to accommodate an outside storage yard, a key element of the company’s operations.
The new facility will include a 10,000 SF office/employee facilities area, a 13,000 SF sign shop/silk screen area, a barricade shop, and seven interior vehicle maintenance bays. Construction at the site is well underway with occupancy scheduled for year-end 2016…
Meridian Awarded Montgomery, NY Build to Suit

Meridian Design Build was recently selected by developer SunCap Property Group to design and construct a 248,370 SF industrial build to suit in Montgomery, NY. The new facility, located on a 44.16 acre site at 201 Neelytown Road, will serve as a package sortation and distribution center for a leading provider of global shipping and information services.
The scope of the project will include 63 loading docks, seven drive-in doors, 184 interior van loading positions, 451 auto parking stalls, and 190 exterior trailer stalls. Additionally, a freestanding gateway building will be constructed to provide a secure entry point into the site…
