Meridian Completes Morey Corporation Innovation Center

Innovation Center at Morey Corporation’s Global Headquarters in Woodridge, Illinois. Located in Internationale Centre, this new facility increases Morey’s total square footage in the park to 121,500 square feet. The new building will serve as a technical development, engineering and testing facility for all products developed by The Morey Corporation. The facility features large volume spaces designed to accommodate laboratory and testing facilities, prototype display areas and a center for engineering design. The building also features a connecting link to Morey’s existing manufacturing office/facility and a partial basement with an underground parking garage. Meridian Completes O’Hare Logistics Center

Meridian Design Build recently announced the completion of O’Hare Logistics Center, a 12-acre business park owned and developed by Seefried Properties, an Atlanta-based industrial development company.
Located near Chicago O’Hare International Airport at the Southwest corner of Devon and Ellis Avenues in Bensenville, IL, the center is comprised of 2 speculative multi-tenant industrial facilities totaling 188,160 square feet. The two buildings, Building I (107,800 square feet), and Building II (80,360 square feet), were designed to accommodate freight forwarding and cargo warehousing. Meridian Breaks Ground on AMB Minooka Spec

Meridian Design Build has broken ground for a new 1,000,743 square foot speculative industrial facility for AMB Property Corporation in Minooka, IL. The anticipated completion date for the project is December 31, 2007.
Located on a 64-acre parcel of land at the southwest corner of I-80 and Ridge Road, the 32’ clear cross-docked facility will accommodate up to 200 exterior depressed truck docks. The site is laid out to accommodate 273 trailer stalls and 313 car parking spaces.

Meridian Completes Lewis-Goetz Tenant Space

Meridian Design Build recently completed a new 38,713 square foot tenant space for Lewis-Goetz and Company, Inc., within the 260,000 square foot speculative building recently completed by Meridian Design Build for DP Partners at DP’s LogistiCenter at Sauk Village in the Village of Sauk Village, IL.
Lewis-Goetz and Company, Inc., will consolidate its Chicago divisional manufacturing/distribution operations from locations in South Holland, IL, and Bolingbrook, IL, into the new facility. The company, a privately owned fabricator of hose, conveyor belting, gaskets and packing, and accessories, will employ 40 people at the new facility.
