MERIDIAN COMPLETES GLENDALE HEIGHTS TENANT BUILDOUT

Glendale Heights, IL, June 14, 2017– Meridian Design Build recently completed a 112,288 SF tenant buildout for Prologis and OSM Worldwide at 601 Regency Drive in Glendale Heights.

Work included construction of 10,601 SF of office/employee facilities and warehouse improvements including accommodations for tenant provided material handling systems. The project features 13 loading docks, 95 vehicle parking stalls, 21 trailer stalls and 1 drive in door. Dan Smolensky of Taurus Modal Group represented OSM Worldwide in the transaction. Brian Kling and Jonathan Kohn of Colliers International represented Prologis.

Meridian Completes Bartlett Build to Suit

Bartlett, IL, February 14, 2017– Meridian Design Build recently completed a 67,080 SF build to suit for Traffic Control & Protection on a 9.5 acre site within Abbott Land & Investment’s Blue Heron Business Park in Bartlett, IL.

The new facility includes 10,000 SF of office/employee facilities space, a 13,000 SF sign shop/silk screen area, a barricade shop, and seven vehicle maintenance bays. Additional features include a 24,000 SF covered exterior dock platform and a 7.5 acre outside storage yard paved with pervious fractionalized asphalt pavement.

Meridian Breaks Ground on New Spec Distribution Center

Meridian Design Build and Venture One Real Estate (“Venture One”) have commenced construction on a 271,700 square-foot distribution building at 1200 S Schmidt Road in Romeoville, IL. The development is a joint venture between Venture One and Stockbridge Capital Group. Situated in the heart of the I-55 submarket, the building is located less than two miles from the Bolingbrook Drive interchange.

The state of the art facility is being developed on a speculative basis and is able to accommodate an array of tenant sizes and uses. Amenities such as 32′ clear height, ESFR sprinklers, 185 foot truck court and abundant car and trailer parking for up to 56 trailers and 200 autos have been incorporated into the design of this building.

Meridian Starts Construction on Florida Build to Suit

Meridian Design Build recently began construction on a 236,976 SF package sortation and distribution center for developer SunCap Property Group on a 40.51 acre redevelopment site in Miami-Dade County. The new facility, being built for a leading provider of global shipping and information services, is located at the intersection of SW 127th Avenue and SW 272nd Street in Homestead, FL.

The new building will include 63 loading docks, seven drive-in doors, 180 interior van loading positions and 8,270 SF of office space. Site improvements will be completed to accommodate a 431 car parking lot and a 125 stall trailer storage yard…
