Meridian Begins Construction at Bluff Point III

Construction is well underway on the Bluff Point III Distribution Facility in Romeoville, IL. Meridian Design Build was selected by Land and Lakes Development Co to serve as design-build general contractor for the project earlier this year.
The 506,800 square foot speculative industrial facility is located at the Southeast corner of Joliet Road and Bluff Road and is the third building within Land and Lakes Bluff Point Business Park. The building is designed to accommodate multi-tenant occupancy with 4 drive-in-doors, a 30’ clear height, and an ESFR Sprinkler System. Meridian Selected for Cicero Renovation

Meridian Design Build has been selected by C.R. Laurence to coordinate the renovation of a recently acquired 90,000 square foot manufacturing facility, at 5501 W. Ogden Avenue in Cicero, IL.
An extensive amount of interior demolition work and reconfiguration is planned to improve overall flow within the facility. This work will make room for updated employee facilities such as plant restrooms/locker rooms, lunch-rooms and plant offices.

Meridian Completes 496K Building in Sauk Village

Meridian Design Build has completed a new 496,000 square foot speculative industrial facility for DP Partners on a 26.5-acre site within DP’s LogistiCenter at Sauk Village development, located 20 miles due south of Chicago in suburban Cook County.
The building features 32’ clear heights, 50’ by 50’ warehouse bays with 60’ deep staging bays, two drive-in doors, an ESFR fire-suppression system, and T5 fluorescent lighting throughout. Parking is provided for 189 cars and 59 trailers. Up to 120 trailer stalls can be accommodated in a cross-docked configuration. Meridian Selected for Auto Truck Build to Suit

Meridian Design Build has been selected by Auto Truck Group and Abbott Land and Investment Corporation to act as design-build general contractor for a Corporate Office/Showroom/Manufacturing Facility for Auto Truck to be constructed in Bartlett, IL. Construction is expected to begin in late spring with a fourth quarter 2008 project completion.
The new facility will be located on a 16.26-acre site within Brewster Creek Business Park in Bartlett, IL.
