Meridian Design Build was recently selected by Kerry Ingredients & Flavours to coordinate the design-build renovation of an existing restaurant space in Westchester, IL to accommodate a commercial test kitchen.
The new facility, located at One Westbrook Corporate Center, will be designed to allow the food ingredient and additive manufacturer to work interactively with its clients to develop and test new product concepts and flavor solutions. Meridian Awarded Self Storage Project in Wheaton

Meridian Design Build was recently selected to act as general contractor for an 81,543 SF self-storage facility in Wheaton, IL for The Lock Up. The new four-story facility will be located adjacent to the Main Street Marketplace shopping center at the northwest corner of Main Street and Geneva Road.
The building will offer climate controlled and drive-up units and will feature covered loading bays with secure access to accommodate the needs of its clients. Meridian Breaks Ground on Indianapolis Build to Suit

Meridian Design Build’s National Projects Group recently broke ground on a 303,000 SF package sorting and distribution center in Zionsville, IN for Indianapolis-based Scannell Properties. The build-to-suit facility will be the first development in the new Ripberger Business Park.
The main building will include 291,000 SF of package sorting/distribution and 12,000 SF of office space. 350 fenced trailer positions, 550 auto parking stalls, 99 loading docks, and 6 drive-in doors will be provided to support daily operations for Scannell’s tenant, a leading global supplier of shipping and information services. Meridian Completes Alsip Build-to-Suit

Meridian Design Build recently completed construction for a 171,670 SF Build-to-Suit for Polmax Transportation at 122nd and Central in Alsip, IL. The project included the adaptive re-use and redevelopment of a 38-acre site previously utilized as an Auto Auction into a modern cross-dock warehouse, vehicle repair facility, and corporate headquarters for the locally owned company.
