Meridian Awarded Spartanburg Package Sortation Facility

Meridian Design Build’s National Projects Group was recently selected by SunCap Property Group to design and construct a 254,353 SF package sorting and distribution center on a +/- 60-acre site in Spartanburg, SC. The facility will be located just off I-85 at Falling Creek Road and Fort Prince Boulevard.
The new automated sort facility will include 98 loading docks, 166 interior van loading positions, 195 exterior trailer stalls, and 10,953 SF of office/administrative space. A vehicle maintenance facility, remote fueling island, and gateway security building will be provided to support the daily operations of the facility.
