Meridian Completes Auto Truck Build to Suit

Meridian Design Build recently completed construction of a 103,585 square foot build-to-suit facility for Auto Truck Group on a 16.26-acre site within Brewster Creek Business Park in Bartlett, IL. Serving as the company’s corporate headquarters, the new building includes 12,600 square feet of office space and a 5,700 square foot vehicle showroom. Auto Truck has specialized in the up-fitting of work trucks with customized bodies, cranes, lifts and other equipment for utility companies, railroads, municipalities, private contractors, and others since 1918 and is relocating their operation from an existing facility on Ellis Avenue in Bensenville. The new facility includes a significant amount of secured outside vehicle storage and an 85,000 square foot shop area with sufficient work bays to accommodate up to 48 trucks.
