Meridian Breaks Ground on 100k Build to Suit

Meridian Design Build recently broke ground on a 100,000SF build to suit for developer Venture One Real Estate at Loves Park Corporate Center. The fast-track project, scheduled to be completed in the 4th quarter of this year, will serve as a warehouse/distribution facility for Danfoss Drives, a privately held global company that specializes in the manufacture, sales, and service of variable speed drives and electronic motor controls.

The Danfoss project is the second building to be constructed within Loves Park Corporate Center, a 57 acre business park that fronts the Northwest Tollway (I-90/I-39) approximately 1/2 mile north of the four way interchange at Riverside Boulevard. Meridian Completes Food Facility Expansion

Meridian Design Build has completed an 84,000 square foot facility expansion for Kerry Ingredients & Flavours at 3141 W. North Avenue in Melrose Park, IL. The scope of the design build redevelopment project included demolition of an outdated 100,000SF 2 story masonry, timber, and cast in place concrete structure.

Improvements within the new addition included insulated metal wall and ceiling panels, mechanical and lighting systems, and sanitation stations designed to meet AIB standards. Meridian Design Build recently completed construction of a 12,500SF corporate office renovation for Highland Baking Co. at the company’s headquarters in Northbrook, IL. The project, completed on a design/build basis, includes Private Offices, a Sales Area, updated Restrooms, Conference Rooms, and an employee Lunch Room area. The renovation serves a dual-purpose for Highland Baking Co. With ever-expanding operations, the new office space accommodates the company’s current space needs with additional consideration for future expansion. Meridian Completes Medical Office Build-Out

Meridian Design Build recently completed a medical office build-out for MedProperties Group in Lockport, IL. The fast-track project, completed in less than 40 days, included construction of 10 exam rooms, private restrooms, shared waiting/reception areas, and lockable file storage.

The build-out was completed within the new 54,000 SF Lockport Crossings Medical Center, a 3-story medical office building completed in 2009 with Advocate Health Care as the anchor tenant.
