Meridian Completes Kubota Engine Expansion

Meridian Design Build recently completed a 100,280 SF building expansion to Kubota Engine America’s U.S. headquarters in Lincolnshire, Illinois. The expansion, completed on a design/build basis, more than doubles the size of the company’s facility there.
The expansion adds 81,880 SF of additional plant/warehouse space and 18,400 SF of space designed to serve as future offices. Site improvements were also completed to create additional employee parking to accommodate Kubota Engine America’s future growth. Meridian Completes NOW Foods Office Renovation

Meridian Design Build has completed work on a 38,710 SF office renovation for NOW Foods in Bloomingdale, IL. The company recently moved 140 employees to a newly acquired office building at 244 Knollwood Drive to accommodate laboratory and manufacturing expansions within their existing production facility.
The fast track renovation included demolition and office reconfiguration work on the two upper floors of the four-story building. A modern lunchroom was created and water bottle filling stations were also installed with sustainability…
Meridian Breaks Ground on Grayslake Expansion

Meridian Design Build has begun construction on an 87,777 SF expansion to a 215,000 SF ground distribution and package sorting center that the company completed in 2011. The expansion, Meridian’s third project for Indianapolis based developer Scannell Properties, is being constructed on a build-to-suit basis to accommodate the needs of Scannell’s tenant, a leading global provider of shipping and information services.

Meridian Completes Second Staybridge Suites Hotel

Meridian Design Build recently completed the construction of an 85,000 SF Staybridge Suites Hotel in Bowling Green, Kentucky. The three-story, 124 suite hotel includes studio, one, and two bedroom layouts that all feature fully-equipped kitchens. Amenities of the hotel include a fitness center, an outdoor pool, and onsite meeting rooms to accommodate the needs of business travelers and other extended-stay guests.
The new hotel is within walking distance of multiple restaurants and shopping opportunities and provides convenient hospitality to event visitors of Western Kentucky University’s Knicely Conference Center. A…
