Meridian Completes Quad Cities Build to Suit

Meridian Design Build recently completed work on a 189,926 SF build to suit in the Quad Cities area for Indianapolis based developer Scannell Properties. The new automated package sortation and distribution facility is located on a 29 acre site in Rock Island, IL at Route 92 and Turkey Hollow Road.
The pre-engineered metal building includes 59 loading docks, 193 exterior trailer stalls, 160 van loading positions, and 8,256 SF of office space. Meridian Starts Construction on Romeoville Freezer

Meridian Design Build recently began work on a new 188,166 SF cold storage facility in Romeoville, IL. The build-to-suit facility, located on a 35-acre site on Airport Road just west of Southcreek Parkway, will include office space, dry storage, a refrigerated palletizing area, and a -10°F freezer sized to accommodate 21,000 pallet positions.
The 95,085 SF, 72’ clear ceiling height cold storage area is designed to accommodate an Automatic Storage & Retrieval System that will place and retrieve 21,000 pallets of frozen product utilizing a high speed network of conveyors and automated cranes. Meridian Completes Southeastern Wisconsin Project

Meridian Design Build recently completed design/build construction work on a 76,320 SF expansion to an existing seasonings plant in Sturtevant, WI for Kerry Ingredients & Flavours. This was Meridian Design Build’s fourth project for Kerry since 2009.
The fully air-conditioned building addition includes 10 new loading docks and dedicated warehouse space to accommodate spice storage. Meridian also completed significant interior renovation work within the existing plant including construction of new blending cells, the expansion of existing employee facilities, and relocation of QA facilities to accommodate increased production output…
Meridian Completes Self-Storage Project

Meridian Design Build recently completed construction of an 81,543 SF self-storage facility in Wheaton, IL for The Lock Up. The building is located adjacent to the Main Street Marketplace shopping center at the northwest corner of Main Street and Geneva Road.
The new four-story facility offers climate controlled and drive-up units and features covered loading bays with secure access to accommodate the needs of its clients.
